Initial call, then on-site review & troubleshooting
Service Description
We have ex-ISP (internet service provider) technicians who are able to help troubleshoot general internet and networking related issues. If your ISP has deemed issues to be "not on their end", or you believe that the issue is within your premises, we can provide hands-on troubleshooting. Issues may include but are not limited to: Lack of internet at one or more computer/device Network devices not remaining connected Poor signal and black spots Inconsistent internet connection Cannot get new devices to work on your network "Connected but no internet" Slower than expected speeds We recommend that an initial call with your ISP be made first, especially when issues with landline phones or neighbouring properties are notes. Site visits are charged at a "first hour" rate, followed by a lower rate for subsequent hours. Should issues be resolved via scheduled phone call, the rates will be for "remote support". Note that we do offer remote support at a reduced rate, however, some remote work may be rejected and on-site suggested as a substitution where work is not feasible remotely. This is a cost and time effective way to resolve eligible internet issues. Please note that jobs that are deemed unsuitable for remote repair/diagnosis over the phone will be rejected and still chargeable. This may be due to issues suspected to be "outside of the premises".
